Its power supply delivers so the drives won't starve. With no USB3 connection, push a button to clone the drive in the "A" dock onto the drive in the "B" dock, all handled automatically with a LED bar graph displaying its progress. When plugged into a USB3 port, the PC gets access to any docked drive that's as fast as an internal drive but there's also a happy surprise: you don't need a PC to get it to clone one drive to another.
